You are invited to an Exotic and Erotic Epicurean Extravaganza! We are bringing in a guest facilitating team from the San Francisco Bay area to guide 40 lucky LoveTribe members through sensual food-centric exercises and activities, games and more! Come with an open mind, an enthusiastic sense of adventure, and a willingness to find new pleasure and enjoyment from sharing our daily bread. (and chocolate and whipcream and strawberries and honey!)


WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
The following is a summary description from our guest facilitating team:
When can you remember taking the time to slowly eat something that was put in your mouth and taking the time to experience the great variety of flavors and textures and body sensations as you digest it? When can you remember coming up with creative ways to offer and ask for the delicious food that fills your plate? When can you remember doing all of this with someone you are intensely attracted to?

Feasting together is a time to remember the simplicity and depth of experience that can be shared around food. All five senses are included: sight (as you see the food), touch (as you pick it up), sound (as you bite into it), smell (as you eat it), and of course taste. But you don't have to stop there: all you have to do is include one or more partners, and let the experience grow into a cornucopia of sensations!

Important: The doors will close at 7pm and no one will be admitted after that point. You must arrive before 7pm to get in to the event!

This gathering is not intended to be a full dinner, but do come ready to enjoy a variety of savory and sweet delights.

WHO IS COMING TO THE EVENT?
In the spirit of Shakti (female) empowerment, this is a Women's Invite party.

This means any woman (female / goddess / gal / dyke / diva / mama / cougar / etc) may RSVP alone or with a partner of any gender, while Shivas (males) will only be able to attend if invited by a Shakti (female).

Any pair (two women, or a woman and a man) may invite a third woman for no additional fee -however she must be included on your RSVP list!

If you are a single woman and would be willing to be "gender-balanced" with a single man who otherwise would not be able to get in, please note that in your RSVP, or contact our RSVP manager, Shadow@LoveTribe.org.


HOW CAN I ATTEND THIS EVENT?
You must RSVP for Shakti's Indulgence via the LoveTribe calendar. Remember only Shaktis (women) can RSVP - alone or with a partner of any gender. And keep in mind that there are only 40 slots available on the final guest list, so don't delay... send in your RSVP today!!!

Please remember that sending in your RSVP does not automatically guarantee a spot on the guest list. The final confirmed guest list will be determined by creating a mixture of people new to LoveTribe and those who have been members for many years, folks of varying ages, those who have been active and volunteered their time and talents, those who have supported our community through monetary donations or subscribing as a member, and much more! We do our best to create a dynamic, fun, powerful mix of diverse folks to share our events together.

You will receive periodic emails letting you know of your guest status. Once you / your guest(s) have been confirmed on the final guest list you will receive all the important details, including the location and list of requested appetizers and beverages.



WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You should wear clothes that make you feel sexy and sassy, but that are comfortable and allow you to move freely. Think flowing fabrics, rich colors, sparkles, or anything else that makes you feel like the goddess or god that you are!

To protect those with allergies to scents, please do not wear any perfumes or scented deodorants.

Since this is a food event, you may end up with a little drip or smear on your clothing so plan accordingly. But do remember this is a sumptuous, extravagant party - don't wear jeans, worn-out t-shirts, or old painting sweats.


WHAT IF I'M VEGETARIAN, VEGAN, OR ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOODS?
No need to worry! You will prepare your plate(s) of food and can choose only the items you want! Anyone feeding you will choose food from your plate(s) so you'll know they're foods which are safe for you.

We will not have any peanuts at the event, however if you have airborne allergies of other varieties you should contact our Food Director directly to ask if we can accommodate your sensitivities. Her email is SingingHeart@LoveTribe.org .


WHAT LEVEL IS THIS EVENT?
Shakti's Indulgence is a graduated evening; starting out as a Romp and evolving into an Eros event. There will be a clear delineation between the two portions of the evening so everyone will know when the guidelines and boundaries change.

A ROMP is a fun, playful event mixing the connection and tenderness of a LoveTribe SNUGGLE (which is explicitly NON-sexual) with the invitation to share more sensual energy and erotic explorations. A ROMP gives many people a sense of freedom to exchange and build sexual energy, engage in sensual touch, and even remove some clothing without the concern of negotiating sexual intercourse. The limitations to a ROMP are: you must keep a bottom garment on at all times and no skin-to-genital contact is allowed.

An EROS event is an opportunity to dive deeper into the excitement and fun of playing together in a connected and erotic way! EROS events allow for full sexual interactions, all clothing is optional, and safer sex supplies are required (and will be provided).


WHAT IF I'M NERVOUS ABOUT ATTENDING?
Everyone is welcome to participate at their own comfort level and as with all of our events, every interaction is fully consensual and boundaries are to be respected at all times. No one is expected to engage in any activity which makes them uncomfortable or that they don't want to participate in.

We will co-create safe, sacred space for heart-centered sensual playfulness, all the way to full sexual play in the second half of the evening for those who wish. It will, however, be your responsibility to be aware of your individual boundaries and clearly communicate them.

Whenever you feel the evening is complete for you, you are welcome to leave. However there will not be an opportunity to come and go - once you leave you may not return to the event.


WHERE WILL THIS EVENT BE HELD?
As usual, the location will be revealed to those on the final guest list.


HOW MUCH DOES THIS EVENT COST?
Admission to Shakti's Indulgence will be:
~$40 plus beverage* for an Individual Shakti (female)
~$69 plus appetizer* for a Pair (that's only $33 per person for two Shaktis together or one Shakti and one Shiva together)
~Volunteers can receive a reduced admission fee. (see volunteer section below)
~Any Pair may invite a third woman for no additional fee - however she must be included on your RSVP list! (and that brings each person's cost down to a mere $23 per person for an incrEDIBLE night out!)

Since this is a Women's Invite event all males must be invited by and RSVP'd with a woman to get in - no single/individual males will be admitted. So, be sure to contact your female friends and let them know about this event!

Remember, the final guest list is limited to 40 people, so submit your RSVP as soon as possible.


*A list of beverages and appetizers will be provided to the final guest list. You will be asked to provide something from that list for this event. All other food will be supplied. Reminder: This event is not intended to be a full dinner, but do come ready to enjoy a variety of savory and sweet delights.


HOW CAN I GET INTO THIS EVENT FOR A REDUCED ADMISSION FEE?
LoveTribe is committed to making events financially accessible. If you need to negotiate a reduced admission fee, please indicate this when you RSVP.

However, in order to ensure LoveTribe's sustainability and since there are real monetary costs involved in creating events we will only be able to extend reduced admission fees to a few people. This is especially true for Shakti's Indulgence because we are bringing in outside facilitators and that increases our costs. Offering to volunteer is one of the best ways to solidify a place on our final guest list and negotiate a reduced admission fee. (see volunteer section below)

HOW CAN I GUARANTEE MYSELF A SPACE ON THE FINAL GUEST LIST?
With only 40 slots on the final guest list, many people who want to attend this event simply won't be able to. However, you can help solidify your space on the guest list by volunteering your time and talents! (see the volunteer section below)


HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR THIS EVENT?
There are a few terrific volunteer opportunities for Shakti's Indulgence and, in addition to helping make sure you can come to this fantastic party, volunteering is also a great way to meet new people, get connected to folks before the party, contribute to a great cause, and support our community.

When you RSVP, you will have a chance to indicate that you're able and willing to volunteer. Then our volunteer coordinators will contact you with a list of what tasks we need volunteers to undertake. If you are able to commit to one of those tasks you will be moved to the confirmed guest list.

If you are needing to negotiate a reduced admission fee, it will be determined by the task you are willing to take on along with your financial need.

Please note that since confirmed volunteers are receiving guaranteed entrance and/or a reduced admission fee they are expected to follow through with their commitment. Any volunteer who does not complete their shift will have that noted on their LoveTribe profile which will affect consideration of their entrance into future events.
